'Not a Nonviolent Negro' album, book No. 1 in multiple categories

By Staff

ATLANTA, March 6, 2013, 9 a.m. - Syndicated talk radio show host, journalist, music artist and author Rob Redding's book "Not a Nonviolent Negro: How I Survived Obama" and the "Not a Nonviolent Negro" soundtrack yesterday debuted at No. 1 on four different Amazon.com charts.

The tell-all book is No. 1 on Amazon.com "Best Sellers List" in "Nationalism" and "Hot New Releases" in the "Social Philosophy" and "Nationalism" categories respectfully.

"I have never had a book or album do this well!" Redding said. "This is a true blessing, given that the show charged through some real challenges in the last few weeks. It shows you that God is real and so is my fanbase of 4,000-plus followers on social media, thousands of readers at www.ReddingNewsReview.com and the thousands who listen to our affiliate radio stations."

Redding, who is known as America's Independent Voice, released three bestselling books last year. "Disrupter: Pathway to Political Independence" was his first to go to No. 1 on Amazon.com in August.

Consciousness magazine wrote of his latest book: "'Not a Nonviolent Negro: How I Survived Obama' is a written composition consumed with extreme meaning, highlighting Redding's boldness, confidence and honesty, one of the most breathtaking eye-openers of this era....'Not a Nonviolent Negro: How I Survived Obama' is definitely ground-breaking; a modern blueprint to fearless literature."

The book also has its own album "Not a Nonviolent Negro." The album debuted on Amazon.com at No. 1 among "Hot New Releases" in "Disco" is his second dance record in three months.

"The producers who submitted tracks on the album - Kalim Stavros and DJ EVG - get all the credit for taking my voice and concepts and making people dance to it," Redding said. "Unlike the first album, which brought new fans in, this album was for the many listeners of the show."

His "Unleash the Whip!" dance album peaked at No. 2 on Amazon.com in December under his Crystal Castle imprint. The album was called "racy" by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Crystal Castle also is responsible for "Tony Smoove's Aircheck Volume 1" was the first album to feature rapper Bubba Sparxxx in 1998. Crystal Castle is an arm of ReddingNewsReview.com parent company Redding Communications, Inc.

Both the book and album were made available digitally Tuesday. The book is exclusively on online retailer Amazon.com and all Kindle devices. The album is available on Amazon.com, iTunes, Rhapsody, Rdio, iHeart, Google Play, CD Baby and many others.
