ATLANTA, April 8, 2013, 2 p.m. - Activists are protesting the NCAA at tonight's Final Four championship game over player compensation, following the horrendous injury to Louisville player Kevin Ware.

Ron Allen, a former college player, tells Redding News Review that he wants pay and benefits for athletes like Ware.

"They receive no pay, no benefits and basically no respect," Allen said. "Lets start talking about compensating these folks for the work that they do."
