WMCS-AM tops list of 14 black talk radio stations in Arbitron
performance, according to a study conducted by
BlackTalkers.com.
Milwaukee's longtime talker WMCS is currently the
best performing black talk formatted radio station in the country,
according to Arbiton. Arbitron is considered the best at measuring
audience levels for radio stations.
BlackTalkers.com found WMCS outperformed Radio
One-owned Cincinnati's The Buzz 1230 WDBZ-AM and Atlanta's CBS
Radio-owned News & Talk 1380 WAOK-AM.
WAOK was in a tie with Detroit's Radio One-owned
News Talk WCHB 1200 AM/99.9 FM. The tie was broken by market rank.
