Gordon, a distinguished professor at Temple University, will be speaking in Atlanta at Kennesaw State on Thursday March 22 at 6 p.m. and at Clark Atlanta on Friday March 23 at 4 p.m.

The talk at Kennesaw State will be for the Africana American Diasporic Students conference and is entitled:
"Thinking While Black: A Pedagogical and Revolutionary Imperative from Africana Philosophy and Africana Studies."

The Clark Atlanta talk will be at the Walter Rodney Symposium at 4 p.m. and is entitled: "'The Last Shall Be First': Du Bois, Cooper, Fanon, and Rodney on Revolution and Decolonization."

His visit comes on the eve of Redding News Review's Rob Redding's forthcoming book about black philosophers, "Resurrection: A Historical Anthology of two Forgotten African-American Philosophers." Gordon wrote the book's foreword "The Underside of American Philosophy."
