EXCLUSIVE: Holmes hired as new AMN co-host

May 24, 2010, 8 p.m. - Conservative commentator Amy Holmes today has been named the new co-anchor of the Washington Times' America's Morning News radio program, according to two sources.

Holmes - who has been filling in the slot since Melanie Morgan left the show for health reasons - will continue to co-host the morning radio show with John McCaslin, sources said.

Holmes has appeared on CNN, FOX News, "The View" and "Real Time with Bill Maher." She has also been a speechwriter for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist.

The show, which is syndicated by the Talk Radio Network and The Times, is heard on 75 affiliates across the country.
