Redding wins AP award

ATLANTA, June 14, 2009, 11:40 p.m. - Rob Redding has won an Internet award from the Louisiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association.

Redding, who is CEO of Redding Communications Inc, won "First Place for Best Web Site" for his more than two year stint with KEDM-FM in Monroe, Louisiana. He headed the site's news and updates.

"It is truly an honor to receive an award from the Associated Press," Redding said.

His company, Atlanta-based RCI, owns and operates a vast network of Web sites, including the "Black Web Award"-winning ReddingNewsReview.com. RCI's other key news outlets include NewsBlack.com and the WashingtonContinent.com.

His more than decade-old media company also distributes Redding's award-winning radio show, which has an audience of than 100,000 listeners.
