Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo joins Redding News Review as entertainment editor

March 9, 2009, 12 a.m. - Star blogger Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo Saturday began editing and reporting entertainment news in partnership with radio talk show host Robert "Rob" Redding Jr. - on both his XM radio show and acclaimed website ReddingNewsReview.com.

"Kemi is a seasoned professional who I have a lot of respect for," Redding said. "She brings instant credibility to our growing entertainment section as our new entertainment editor. We are blessed to have such a talented individual on our team."

Omololu-Olunloyo is a professional blogger who runs the largest blog network in North America with 10 entertainment blogs in different categories. She is also an international independent publicist and practicing freelance journalist based in Toronto, Canada. She is a retired 20 year licensed U.S. pharmacist. She replaces Keyonna Summers who left the site, after nearly two years, on Saturday.

Omololu-Olunloyo is a retired pharmacist of 20 years in the U.S. and a practicing freelance journalist in radio, TV and print. Kemi is most known for her intriguing music gossip site HipHossip.com labeled "Canada's Leading Hip-Hop site" by BET.com and praised by VH1 and MTV. Kemi will be providing daily entertainment headlines and breaking news to Redding's listeners and readers along with bi-weekly podcasts updating them with the latest breaking entertainment news.

She has interviewed several entertainers including Rihanna, Flo-Rida, Sean Kingston, Akon, Kardinal Offishall, Girlicious, Jesse McCartney, Perez Hilton, Sporty Spice, New Kids on the Block, Simple Plan, Ill Scarlet, Kristin Cavallari, Brody Jenner, Kanye West, Ludacris, Beyonce, Black Eye Peas, Pharrell, K'naan, Classified, Estelle and more. She has worked in multiple positions in the radio field since 1996 as a health reporter, talk show host, editor, producer and news anchor at WBAL-AM in Baltimore, V103FM Baltimore and Radio Nigeria.

Kemi holds three U.S. degrees in broadcasting, public relations and a 1988 Bachelors degree in Pharmacy. Kemi is a single mother of three boys age 22, 17 and 8 and left the U.S. after 27 years but now lives at her base in Toronto, Canada.
