Redding News Review wins second consecutive BWA

Oct. 15, 2008, 2:30 p.m. - Redding News Review, a leader in news on the Internet for more than six years, has won its second consecutive "Black Web Award."

The site, which covers national, political, business, international, media, entertainment and sports news, was named the "Best News Directory Site." The site defeated,,,,, and in a lengthy nomination and online voting process. 

"This is Redding News Review's second Black Web Award since winning in the 'Best News Distributor Site' category last year," said Founding Publisher & Editor Robert "Rob" Redding Jr.

"We thank all the readers for their continued support and our staff for their hard work," Redding said.

The site's award-winning staff includes: International Editor Bruno Gaston, Sports Editor Audraine Jackson, Entertainment Editor Keyonna Summers, Business Manager Nadra Redding and Attorney Roy Miller.

Redding News Review provides up-to-the-minute credible, competitive and consistent coverage. It  consistently attracts more than half a million readers a year. Founded in March 2002, Redding News Review's editorial mission is to expose the partisan political nature of government while bringing attention to black issues ignored or buried by mainstream media.

Its content is heard on XM Satellite Radio and has been seen on the Fox News Channel.
