His article - which provides his followers with Pitts' phone number and address - assails the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist's June 3 column.
Pitts' column questions "white supremacists and conservative bloggers" pushing of a story about the brutal murder of two whites into the mainstream media.
Pitts has declined to comment about the threats to his wife and family.
White has said he has "no intention of removing Mr. Pitts' personal
information" after being asked to do so by the Herald.
"Frankly, if some loony took the info and killed him, I wouldn't shed a tear," he wrote in response to the paper. "That also goes for your whole news room."
In an emailed response to Redding News Review late Monday, he added:

2) We're posting his home address in case anyone wants to talk to him in person.
3) If I felt he and his editor were harassing me, would they pull a news story or apologize? No.
I give just as much of a flying crap how he and his editor feel as they give about my feelings -- which is nothing.
I did a radio show on this last week. You can catch it in the archives at http://www.answp.com/radio".
