Redding included in Capitol Hill art show
WASHINGTON, Sept. 27, 2006, 1:05 p.m. - Robert "Rob" Redding author, nationally syndicated radio personality and publisher of ReddingNewsReview.com this month will have his "Smear Paintings" included in a group art show on Capitol Hill.
Redding's work will be on display at the Market 5 Gallery, which is located at the District's historic Eastern Market, starting Friday with the show opening at 6:30 p.m.
Redding in February had his first solo show called "Smeared" at The Gallery at Warehouse, just across from the Washington Convention Center.
Redding, 30, began painting at age 12 in Atlanta and currently lives on Capitol Hill.
In 2004, he landed seventh on the Artomatic 2004 "Pick List" of well known District art collector Philip Barlow.
His artwork was also included in "Art House," an independent movie filmed at "Artomatic 2004."
Redding's news program "Redding News Review" is already heard in more than 30 markets on terrestrial radio stations in Atlanta, New York and Washington, D.C. and in all 50 states on XM 169 the Power. Redding News Review - The Podcast, started in January of this year, is downloaded by nearly 500 people weekly at ReddingNewsReview.com, which sends more than 30,000 people across the web monthly.
Redding is also author of the critically
acclaimed e-book "Hired Hatred; Why politicians and the political prejudices they tout are
