Statement of Commitment
to
Article II-Purposes of the NBRA Bylaws

 

I, ______________________________________________, do herewith acknowledge that the National Black Republican Association (NBRA) is a partisan political organization and affirm my support of Article II of the NBRA bylaws to wit:

The purposes of the NBRA shall be:

A. To foster the participation of blacks in the American political process and the Republican Party;

B. To redevelop and maintain loyalty to the Republican Party within black communities throughout the nation;

C. To engage in issue advocacy on international, national, state, and local matters and implement our viewpoints using governmental bodies and Republican organizations;

D. To enlarge the pool of highly qualified, black Republican candidates;

E. To increase the number of Republican officeholders at all levels of government; and

F. To champion the principles, goals, and policies of the Republican Party.

My failure to sign this statement confirms that I am not a member in good standing of the NBRA and am not eligible to be an officer in the NBRA or a member of the NBRA Board of Directors, per Article II, Section 1; Article IV, Section 1; and Article V, Section 1 of the NBRA bylaws.
