media interviews. He is heard on XM 169

WOL-AM
in Washington, D.C. He is also a member
of Black Talkers "Talented 10."
Radio Personality of the Year -
Herman Cain, he has his own
successful weekday show on Atlanta's
WSB-AM
and is a frequent fill-in for
Neal Boortz.
Program Director of the Year - No
winner.
Station of the Year -
WGIV-FM,
the Charlotte radio station is now heard
on the FM dial.
TV Personality of the Year -
Oprah Winfrey, she made national
news for her White House Christmas
special. She says she is concluding her
show next year. She is also a member of
Black Talkers "Talented 10."
Launched last year, Black Talkers is
the only Web site dedicated
to covering the black talk media
industry!
The site covers nearly 30 Black Talk
formatted radio stations, with its media
directory; hundreds of TV and radio talk
show hosts with its pair of media
Talented 10 lists; and black talk media
industry events with its front page
section.

play songs all the way through were
disqualified for this list of talkers.
Hosts also have to have been on the air Monday
through Friday. Audience size,
influence, uniqueness and longevity were
paramount in compiling this list ).
